🌿 The Most Interesting CITO Find Contest – Join the Fun!

Geocaching Łódzkie invites all CITO event participants to take part in a unique contest. Our goal is to promote environmental care and showcase the extraordinary „treasures” that can be come across during a collective cleanup.

📝 How to join?

Each participant can submit up to 3 finds cleared during any CITO event.

To enter, send an email to: 📬 konkursgeograt.geolodzkie@gmail.com no later than July 31, 2026.

Your submission should include:

• 📸 A photo of your find (a single object or a group of items),
• ✏️ A short description – what, where, and how you came across it,
• 🧭 Your username from geocaching.com,
• 📧 Email address,
• 📱 Phone number,
• 🗺️ GC code of the CITO event where the find was made.

🏆 How do we pick the winners?

The contest jury will evaluate the entries based on:

• uniqueness and rarity,
• size/dimensions,
• the ecological value of removing the item.

Based on these criteria, three winning finds will be selected.

Additionally, during Geocaching Party 2026 attendees will vote for one find to receive the Community Award.

The most interesting photos will be shown during the event.

🎁 Prizes

Winners and the Community Award laureate will receive physical prizes, which will be handed out during Geocaching Party 2026.
